May's monthly D3 Hardbody races had several new hardbody racers join in the fun. 3 "Farrout" home club racers: Bob Beck, Eddie Shorer and Tim Herrera raced NASCARs to prepare for the upcoming NASCAR Enduro at BPR on Sunday, June 22nd. Phil Nyland also raced NASCARs and won in his first ever hardbody race. A good turnout of racers provided a fun packed day of hardbody racing on Buena Park Raceway's MTT Flat track. Thanks to Jim and Debby Watterson for their ongoing support of hardbody racing at BPR Thanks to our race directors: Victor Dubrowsky, Keith Tanaka Thanks for the race photos Victor, Keith. Thanks to our volunteer turn marshalls, especially to Victor's brother Alex for helping out again. Here's the race/photo report: hardbody race reportJoin us on Father's Day, Sunday June 15th for our monthly D3 hardbody races at BPR. Track opens at 10 am, first race at noon. This is the last opportunity for our enduro participants to get in some practice as well as establish their racer handicap if they don't have one yet. For those racers participating in the enduro and need to establish a "racer handicap", you can race NASCARs twice on June 15th. You need a minimum of 2 NASCAR races (both within 10% of the total laps) before the enduro to establish your racer handicap. Join in the fun at our first D3 Hardbody Enduro on Sunday, June 22nd at BPR. Track opens at 9 am, tech inspection open at 11 am, closed at 11:30 am. 4 hour enduro to start at noon. Keith

Hi Keith. I've been seeing low 4 second lap times on the April and May race reports. Have the cars improved that much since March?

Ron, any lap time considerably lower than the normal times is a "rider" lap. Unfortunately, the SRT race director software does not distinguish between a rider lap and a regular lap.
