Here's a poll to determine what length heats we should run in the upcoming Hardbody Enduro on June 22nd. For those who are racing in the enduro, please cast your vote.Advantages of 10 minute heats:Every racer would run all 8 lanes during the enduro (vs. just 5 or 6 lanes with 15 min. heats) Shorter heats would be less demanding physically (and mentally?). Calculating team/racer handicap during the enduro would be easier (for me, doesn't affect the racers). Disadvantages of 10 minute heats:Shorter heats, less time to eat lunch/snack More driver/turn marshall changes Running time of enduro will increase (by 8 minutes total - extra 1 min. between heats) Keith

I personally can down some serious calories in far less than 10 minutes! I don't think that 15 minutes is enough time to go get something at Imperial Burger anyway. Perhaps those that can't go 5 or 6 hours without eating can bring a brown bag sandwich and chips or whatever their diet allows, buy a cold soda/water from BPR (just like I did at work), take your time over a couple of breaks and enjoy a day of slot racing, this shouldn't be made difficult for our less well participants and I think we should consider making our rules accordingly. There are really no disadvantages in the 10 minute heats other than an increase of 8 minutes total time and we could make that up with fewer track calls. Conversely there are several disadvantages in the 15 minute heats. Personally I don't care and will race regardless. Have a nice day!
