This year's GTP hardbody enduro was faster and more exciting than last year's NASCAR enduro. More exciting because of more lead changes and car problems.
Several teams had to change motors, tires and repair damaged bodies.
The racing was faster with many racing duels thruout the enduro as several teams proved to be very competitive.
Last year's NASCAR enduro had only one 100 lap heat (by Paul Sterrett on black). Sunday's enduro had every team exceeding the 100 lap mark. The winning team, Team Sloth averaged over 101 laps per heat for the entire enduro!
Two teams tied with 110 laps, Team Sloth on black and Cabin Fever on purple. Wow, that's fast racing.
I want to thank all those people who helped make the enduro a very fun day of racing. The race directors: Victor Dubrowsky, Jim Watterson, Tim Neja.
Debby Watterson for providing pizzas for lunch, thanks Debby. Roger Uusitalo for helping take photos and also donating some money which went towards the podium plaque cost.
Of course, Gonzo and Ken Dylke for their collaboration of our D3 hardbody racing program. These guys have always been helpful in keeping our hardbody racing program on the right track.
Good to see Paul Sterrett and Ryan Miller join in the fun after traveling quite a distance to race with us again.
Congratulations to Team Sloth for their dual podium win, well deserved.
