OK guys, here's your opportunity to voice the reasons why your team should have won the enduro (or least beat that other team you hate to lose to). Although Team Rolling Hills races just for fun (I know, it's hard to believe), we did encounter some problems during the enduro. First of all, we didn't enter our "secret fastest car" since we like to see others win (yeah right). Our car had a slightly used motor (a lot of practice laps over the last month or two) which probably cost us at least the podium (yeah right). I was too lazy to switch to our killer motor before the race (yeah right). Our car began to slow (a tenth or so per lap, not kidding this time) around the midpoint of the enduro. It's not fun letting others pass just to be courteous. The car really slowed when Craig was on orange in the 22nd heat. The braid was well worn on one side. The motor finally gave out in the next heat when Roger was driving on white. We lost about 60 laps switching motors which cost us a podium finish (ignoring that others had the same fate). Our last heat on red was back to normal (not having to let others pass). So, all in all, we were robbed. I'm sure the rest of you had a clean enduro run with no problems. If you have excuses for not winning or beating that other team, please post your responses here or we'll forever think you are just slow racers. Keith p.s. - It's all in fun but I hope to see your responses posted here as its nice to see the rest of you post online once in awhile.

At one point, Keith you asked me if we should change motors an I said no. I was totally confused at that time, thinking we had three heats left when actually we had six heats left. Shoulda, coulda, but didn't.

yeah yeah---we had the LEAD for most of the race!!! BUT---had to change tires and then discovered the chassis was broken!! Got that all fixed and worked out way back onto the podium---THEN the motor slows down drastically!!! Basically lost nearly 85 laps changing the motor---by then we were TOAST!!! NEXT time---we'll be sure NOT to have to change a motor!!! The ONLY motors that went the entire distance were TSR'S!! Guess that proves again the superiority of Doc's little chinese piece of junk!! Even though we COULDA and SHOULDA won---it was a LOT of fun!! Can't wait for the next one!!

THE GONZO PAN CHASSIS WAS PERFORMING AWESOMELY WHEN THE MOTOR GAVE OUT.the reason we chose to only allow tsr and falcon 7 for the enduro was because of the higher risk of motor failure.so everything that happened with the motors was by design.it made it much more exciting because you knew a motor change was likely.i say next enduro make a motor change mandatory after half way point[unless your motor fails before]so as to make that issue part of your strategy.no excuses here we were up and we were down thats what its all about!!!!!

Or just mandate that Falcon 7's must be used. Problem solved, at least with these heaver cars.
