Cool looking chassis Gonzo. I like to see new design ideas. What is the thickness of the chassis pan and what did you use to cut it?

Is that .078 music wire for the back loop, or 3/32?

hi craig. the back loop is actually .062 wire. so is the front axle and thats about all you need for wire unless you want to reinforce it.ill find out if it needs it after i race it

So that kind of front axle will be legal for the class?? I know it's not in retro and most of our hard body class's. That's a different way of going about front axles.

Tim, D3 hardbody racing does not have any restrictions on front axle type. Dropped front axles or whatever type you desire are legal. D3 Retro racing only allowed solid front axles as does SCRRA rules even though dropped front axles were used in the heydays of slot car racing '66-'68. Keith
