This poll is for D3 hardbody racers only. Select which answers you agree with (up to 12 answers). This poll is not official and does not necessarily determine what changes if any will be implemented. It's strictly to find out what everyone prefers at this time. Additional choices may be added if needed.
Any comments or suggestions?

These are all good points. I think implementing some of the subjects on the poll (such as a lunch break, a maximum of either 3 or 4 races per day, and not racing Trans Am) kind of depends on how timely the racing program goes after we make the other changes. Maybe we can add or subtract these later after we see how the other changes work out.

#1: 12 noon comes right a lunch time. I'm thinking maybe make it 12:30 or 1:00pm FIRM. As long as the race schedule is posted (see #10), everybody has a choice of when to eat, do their testing and warm-ups of all the cars they plan to race. Once racing begins, then it's 15-20 minutes between races for the rest of the day as in #4. #2: Voted "For" this measure if needed in order to fill up a race up. #3: See # 1. This makes lunch at 1:00 pm or later if the first race has sit-outs, which also might delay the next race and so on. #4: I would like a little more time between races, but not much more than 15-20 minutes. Not in the Poll but I would like to see the racer's lane assignments asap and have 2 minutes warm-up on the lane I start on. #5: Mixed feelings on mixed races LOL. If the cars run the same lap times, then it's no issue. #6: I would rather run 4 lane only rather than Crash and Burn. #7/8: Please don't let this inhibit anyone who would like more races per month, but my budget only allows me about two per month if that. #9: I have cars for 4 classes, so I'm pretty flexible on this matter. #10: Voted "For" this measure, but as above I am willing to adapt to most classes run on race day's. #11: I think everyone has their favorite cars/classes, so including the not so popular classes once in awhile can be good for moral. #12: I don't object to testing and breaking in a new class this way.

So far the voting shows a preference for the following:
Start first race at noon "SHARP". Combine 80's and 1990's-2012 NASCARS in one race. Avoid races using only 4 lanes at a time. Run 4 races a month including a "mixed" race. Post each month's race schedule beforehand. New classes ('46-'56 NASCAR) run in the mixed race initially.
I will post the race schedule for Nov. 18th races this week.
Any comments?

I agree that we should try these changes. There are a couple other things i'd like to see, but this will be a good start. We can see how these work out.
