In case you're wondering, here are some comments concerning the types of 911 Porsches allowed in this new racing class; The Porsche 911 GT1 is not allowed since the body is lower and wider than any other 911 configuration. The appearance of this race car is quite different from the various 911 variations available in kit form. The essence of this new racing class is the basic 911 body style which has evolved over the years while not allowing distinctly different body styles such as the GT1, 935, 959, 961, etc. The Porsche 934 is allowed since its body form and dimensions are similar to the 911 GT2 and GT3 versions. The tire width (front and rear) and body width dimensions of this new class "levels" the playing field as far as any body having an advantage. The "Kremer" 934 model kit body is similar to the 935 Porsche which is not allowed. These cars have very wide rear tire fenders with vertical sides and are not allowed. Besides a wide variety of 911 model kits available, there are a ton of decals available (i.e., Ebay) for many different liveries. If there is any 911 or 934 model kit which you're not sure meets this new racing class, post your comment(s) in this forum and we'll let you know if it's allowed. Keith

The Testor's Kremer Porsche 934 model kit is not allowed for this new racing class. The body style and dimensions are quite different from the basic 911 body design. The Kremer Porsche is similar in style to the 935 which is not allowed.

Cool looking car but I agree it should not be allowed. It's getting much too far away from the stock production 911.
