The Moebius '55 Chrysler 300M body for the new NASCAR class. These things won a lot of races back in the day. The wheel base is a very long 5", the max inside width, F&R, is 2 7/8". what do you guys think the long WB will do to the handling? Attachments:

The long wheelbase will probably result in a lot more fishtail thru the turns. I'm going to build a chassis for the '50 Oldsmobile. It has a wheelbase of 4.75", but not as wide as the Hudson. I think the chassis will be heavy to counteract the high CG. Also, I plan on having very little guide flag lead if any to reduce the effect of the long wheelbase.

Going to go with a 56 Chevy Bel Aire. 4 1/2 inch wheelbase. Short guide flag lead recommended?

Just make sure the guide flag is not visible when viewing the car from above. I personally like a short guide flag lead, but there are others who prefer a normal or longer guide flag lead. Whatever fits within the body you use is ok.
