The Falcon 7 and Falcon II motors are not in stock at BPR. We do not know if there are any available anywhere at this time. BPR will be looking for other sources for these motors, but there's no guarantee any will be found prior to the Nats.
Hopefully, those who will participate in the D3 Hardbody Nats this year will not have a motor issue.
The Falcon II has an alternate motor for use: Slick 7 Mini Brute
The Falcon 7 alternate is the TSR D3 motor, but these motors rotate in opposite direction so they are not interchangeable for anglewinder, sidewinder cars. If there is another alternate motor for the Falcon 7 (rotates in the same direction and has the same performance) please let me know.
I do have some used Falcon II's which should be fine for the Nats. Let me know if you need one for your '46-'56 NASCAR. You can also use the Slick 7 Mini Brute for these cars.

I believe that a comparable motor and an alternative to the Falcon 7 is the Hawk 7.

I believe that a comparable motor and an alternative to the Falcon 7 is the Hawk 7. Michael, in reading some of the comments in Slotblog about the Hawk 7 vs. Falcon 7 comparison, it's obvious the Hawk 7 is faster than the Falcon 7. This is due mainly because of the armature wind is hotter (60T vs. 65T for the Falcon 7). If we can find an equivalent motor (same performance, same rotation direction) before the Nats, we "might" be able to use one but at this time we don't have an approved alternate motor for the Falcon 7 (other than the TSR D3 motor). A possible alternate motor for the Falcon II would be the TSRF homeset motor. The TSRF motor performance per Dokk (PdL) is the same as the Falcon II. If you use the TSRF homeset motor, sometimes this motor runs faster in the opposite direction (same direction as the Falcon II). Keith
