I have followed Keith's posts on SlotBlog, so when I saw his link to a Hardbody-specific site, I had to join in. I live and race in southern Oregon. The nearest commercial track is over 2 hours away and relatively new. They race flexies there. But here in the Roseburg area, we have a wealth of club racing. We race every Monday evening at Bob Hanna's Sparetime Raceway. Picture of the track here: www.oscrsite.com/forum/download/file.php?id=95&mode=viewTwo of our regulars also have tracks and occasionally host races. In addition, "All American Raceway" and "Pelican Park" are also hardbody club tracks within 80 miles. We race many classes similar to what you race at Buena Park, although our rules are different so none of our cars would be legal in your classes and vice-versa. Still, the principles are the same, so I feel free to steal your ideas whenever possible. On March 15th I plan to race this at All American Raceway in the "OSCAR" Vintage Nascar race. (Yeah, we run silly little tires)

"adjustablejames" welcome to our hardbody Blog. Nice looking Mercury hardbody! If you don't mind, please post your name whenever posting here unless you prefer not to. What size (length) is the Sparetime Raceway track? How many members are there in these club tracks? By all means, this website is for sharing ideas, cars, techniques, etc. If you haven't seen our new D3 Hardbody Racing website yet, here's the link: D3 Hardbody RacingKeith

Hey Keith - I edited my profile so that, with luck, my name & location will appear on my signature line. The Sparetime track is 78' in length and has very tight inside lane radii. We have 7 local racers with frequent visits from 2 friends from Grants Pass (to the South) and 4-5 from Cottage Grove (North). The track owner, Bob Hanna, hosts two regional OSCAR (Oregon Slot Car Racers) races annually. These races typically draw 16 to 22 racers from all over Oregon. The OSCAR website can be found here: www.oscrsite.com/index.htmPelican Park (which you may have heard of) is a non-OSCAR club track. They run similar classes but their members rarely participate in OSCAR events. They generally have 10-14 racers for every weekly race. www.pelicanparkspeedway.bizland.com/

Thanks James. I am familiar with Pelican Park. I've never been there, but I do admire the club track they have. Keith
