On my way to Moro Bay I stopped in Oxnard to run on the track there. It was very interesting. The smaller of the two tracks is perfect for hard bodies. It is mostly flat with a slight bank on the big turn onto the straight. As you come into this turn your braking point is under the bridge, but as this is a very fast corner it proved to not be a problem. My best time was 5.24 so a lap just under 5 should be possible.

Hi Cheater, yes it's PCH. Scott at PCH added the flat track recently. He has the King Cobra track in storage for now.

That flat track came from Manchester, NH. We used to run everything from Falcon powered flexis to 1/24 eurosports on it. At different times, we ran it in both directions.

Nice figure 8 track at PCH. It is so smooth, I ran a 60's era Rat Fink BRM on it with no problems and lots of fun once I did a tire change from the dried stock spongies to a pair of Professor Motor solid rubber tires.
The owner suggests using a Parma 45 Ohm controller on the track. I brought along a Professor Motor diode controller that worked perfectly with the original Mabuchi motor.

I also turned 5.20's with my Tyco sidewinder modified with NEO magnets and a 12 arm installed into a Champion Turbo Flex chassis and sporting Raymond Fellows flexi wide Manta Ray body. It was great to see the Orange bomb running around the track.

Unfortunately Scott has removed this track and gone with a King track. No more flat track at PCH as far as I know.
