Here are charts showing the lap times for each heat for every racer. This data shows how consistent (or inconsistent) each racer was for every lane. Deslots are indicated by the slower lap times. Just thought some of you might be interested in the lap by lap times. I'm not planning on posting this type of data in the future unless there's enough interest to do so. For most of us, we race for fun and don't pay much attention to this type of info, but you never know. Keith

This information is great. It showed me that in 8 heats I came off the track 28 times or some 3 to 4 times per heat with a loss which I conservatively estimate of about 7 laps for the race. It illustrates consistency and is a good measure of staying on. I am all for getting this information to measure performance which is what I am trying so hard to improve. Why is the first lap of every heat such a high number for all the racers?

Why is the first lap of every heat such a high number for all the racers? Each heat starts from a dead stop therefore it takes more time to complete the first lap of each heat. Subsequent laps are quicker since your car is moving rather than starting from a dead stop. Keep in mind that every time there is a track call, the subsequent lap takes more time than other laps. Any race having more track calls than normal will result in fewer total laps for everyone. Keith

Did not realize the obvious. Thanks.

I'd be interested in this data as it would help me improve.
