There are various model kits which are approved for the GTP, Group C enduro on June 28, 2015. I will post photos of as many of these kits here so everyone knows what cars/kits are legal to use for the enduro. Some of the kits are no longer being produced (mostly Tamiya kits) but might be available online (Ebay, hobby online sites) or at the Kit Collectors Show (next show is March 15th, our race day in March). Here are some of the approved kits: The Shell Porsche 962C Tamiya kit is widely available. Besides the model kits shown above, BRM makes several painted/complete Porsche 962 cars as well as an unpainted white 962 body and a Mercedes Sauber C9. These bodies are slightly heavier than the Tamiya 962 body (approx. 5 grams heavier) and they are not as robust as the wing and windows are attached separately (rather than the one piece moulded Tamiya 962 body). Most of the BRM painted bodies cost $39.99 (plus $2.42 shipping from Tacoma, Wash.) so the total price is comparable to ordering a Tamiya body online (lower kit price but shipping costs much more). A few of the BRM bodies cost more ($54.99). The complete BRM bodies look great with an excellent paint job and decals. By the way, none of the painted/complete bodies qualify for "concours" in our GTP Enduro in June, but can be used for the Enduro as well as our monthly races. BRM Budweiser Porsche 962, $39.99 BRM Miller High Life Porsche 962, $39.99 (Tim Neja has this body) BRM Lowenbrau Porsche 962, $39.99 BRM Coke Porsche 962, $39.99 (I have this body) BRM MOMO Porsche 962, $39.99 BRM Leyton House Porsche 962, $39.99 BRM 962 kit, $39.99 BRM OMRON Porsche 962, $54.99 (this body is slightly different from the other BRM 962's, no large airscoop in front of rear spoiler) BRM Sauber C9, $54.99 BRM also makes a number of complete ready to run cars of the above models as well as many other GTP cars (RTR cars typically $169, inline plastic chassis). For those of you who are not familiar with BRM bodies here's the BRM Coke Porsche 962. This body comes painted/finished so there's no work involved. The finish detail is excellent. Here's the BRM body next to a Tamiya 962 body. These two bodies are the same size. The BRM body fits perfectly over a chassis originally built for the Tamiya 962C body. Although the BRM prefinished body is not eligible for the Enduro "Concours", it can be used for the Enduro as well as our monthly races. It's a good choice for those who like a prefinished body that looks great and the cost is comparable to a Tamiya 962C kit (unpainted). Keith
